Excellent – now, if only I could change smoothly and quickly from one chord shape to another……

Pick two chords and transitions between the two with no strumming. Quickest way to do this!

Hi Eric—-This is a very good video on technique. I will be putting it into practice starting now. Thank You—Papad

Rocking vid, thank you man, the thing that helped me the most was the thumb technique, the “being able to hold a marker” thing, keep rocking

    awesome man! :)

I’m more or less ’’advanced’’ so I already learned this stuff the hard way but I wish this would have been out when I was learning barre chords would have saved me alot of time and a few grey hairs. Can’t wait for the next vid man!

More advanced stuff coming! Ozzy rules! :)

Thank you Erich!

Best comment today friend! Thank you for “fuel” to keep doing this.

Great! Thank You Master, Your video’s really helpful. I started playing the guitar half year ago, but I was not glad of my skills, now I know why, I’ve been doing it wrong way. I’m waiting for Your next lesson ;)

    Thanks friend!

Thanks, Erich. I’ve been a GS follower for years and it just keeps getting better (pre eBook 1). Realized that I have gotten lazy and am not curling my fingers enough. I’ll sound better now!

My kids throw the javelin in track & field. Like the guitar, it is more about technique than strength! Looking forward to the next vid!

I started to play the guitar when I was 28, I’m going to check where I position my hand and fingers…good tips. I always wondered why some chords didn’t sound full. I also have to say, I’m a lot older now and Erich, you’ve given me back my passion for the guitar. Thank you!

  • staff

I have been playing guitar for around 15 years and have always struggled to get a perfect sound when barring every single time. Your barring ‘Ninja’ tips will help me to do that. Thanks and look forward to the next installment.

    Thank you Greig!

Oh man, I wish I had known about the thick pen trick before! It doesn’t feel natural to drop the thumb. Gotta practice! :D Thanks Erich!
